Inspired by Carl Larsson's Angel of Death and images of abandoned mansions, the fiery Hedda aches for the independence she sees in Eilert and Thea. Aesthetic and popular dress compare the differing viewpoints of societal norms, that have a vice grip on the Tesman household.
